The building at 32 Factory Street is located at the junction of Factory and Aldrich Streets. The site, formed through land reclamation, occupied the flanged corner of a trapezoidal site on the old waterfront. Designed by Faitfone Wong in 1959, the building is a 6 storey structure with one large 1360 ft2 apartment on each level. Each flat contains a living and dinning room, four bedrooms, a bathroom with a full-bath, a kitchen, a servant’s quarter, and two large balconies with views to the typhoon shelter. The ground floor unit has direct access to an enclosed open yard. With projecting balconies and round portal windows, the building evokes the image of an ocean-liner. "
