Aldrich Garden is a residential tower located at the corner of Oi Lai and Oi Yin Streets, north of the Island Eastern Corridor. It was constructed in 2001 under the Governments’ Private Sector Participation Scheme for mid-income residents on land reclaimed after the district’s integration in the HK metro Region through the Shau Kei Wan MTR station (1985) and the Island Easter Corridor. Located next to the waterfront Aldrich Bay Government Primary School, Aldrich Garden has eight 35-storey snowflake type towers and two 22 storey slab type towers. All the towers are placed on street level without podiums. There is in addition one 8-storey building containing stores, a car park and sport facilities. """
