Clinton Hill Co-op was built between 1941-1943 by architect Wallace Harrison. The co-op, a 12-building complex located in two separate “campuses” (four blocks blocks) along Clinton Ave, was composed mainly of one-bedroom and two-bedroom units, built initially for Brooklyn Navy Yards workers (source: wiki). Block 3000 in Census Tract 195 is the major part of the north campus and contains 6 buildings ranging from 7 to 14 floors. Today (Nov. 2010) the price of units ranges from 220,000 to 550,000.
